Jesus as a 3rd Grader

In Bible class, we have been learning about the divinity and the humanity of Jesus, how he is 100% God and 100% human.

It was mind-blowing for the students to realize that Jesus was once a toddler, a third grader, and an awkward teenager! At the age of 12, he astonished the teachers of the law by answering all of their questions flawlessly. Mary his earthly mother "pondered these things in her heart" when Jesus told her that she should have known that he would be in his Father's house. 

I cannot wait to keep learning about who Jesus is along with the students. 

Enjoy their drawings of Jesus as a 3rd grader. I told them to be sure that they don't draw him in a T-shirt, shorts, and sneakers! They did a great job! Can you find your child's drawing? 

 Ask your child to recite John 3:16-17 as well as John 1:14.
