EPIC End of the Year Party

Our Elementary End of the Year Party was pretty amazing! The day began with the Kite Man's presentation of a variety of kites. He was quite entertaining!

He led 150 students in creating a home made kite!

Here is a video of the Kite Man flying one of the kites that he talked about in our assembly. It's super cool!!

The next item on the agenda was a movie in the computer room! We stuffed ourselves with snacks and enjoyed "The Emperor's New Groove".
Then it was lunch time in the cafeteria!

Thanks especially to Bryley's mom, Matthew's mom, and Keira's mom for helping out!

And finally, it was time for JANA ALAYRA!!! She was more than amazing. I have never seen our kids worship the way they did during her concert! They sang and danced their hearts out for the Lord. It brought me to tears!!

She called the kids up by grade level on stage to sing with her. They did a great job and knew all of the words and hand motions! (I tried embedding the videos, but it's not working, so here are a bunch of pics. Please go to the Impact page on Facebook for videos of our kids.)

Look at Kristine way on the left, having her own time of worship with Jesus. LOVE it!!

She called the teachers up on stage, too! When we saw Mr. Hoy way in the back, we had Jana call him up so that he could dance and sing with us:)

What an incredible way to end our party. Thank You JESUS for a great year!

Annual International Feast

Thanks to YOU, our hard working parents and grandparents, we were able to have an absolutely delicious International Feast as the culmination of our country research papers.

We first began with the recitation of a couple of Bible verses that address God's heart for reaching the lost in all nations. Next, the students took turns introducing their dishes. Finally, we prayed for the Lord to send out these students as missionaries to the "ends of the earth"!! May the Good News of Jesus Christ reach every tribe and nation!!

We were SO full after trying the variety of tastes and textures from all around the world.
