Thanksgiving Feast 2018

IMPACT has done it again...another successful Thanksgiving Feast! It's a well-oiled machine led by Shannon Peterson and her wonderful volunteers.

I saw many of you there to help, and I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I know you were on your feet for a long time, running around serving the children and the teachers.

We felt blessed by the delicious meal and excellent service with a smile:)

I forgot to take pictures of the kids at movie time, but trust me...they had a blast. We were cozy with Miss Rice's class who joined us. We had blankets, pillows, movie snacks, and pumpkin pie. Needless to say, it was a great afternoon:)

I am truly THANKFUL for each of my students and the families that they belong to.

We are THANKFUL most of all for Jesus who loves us unconditionally and showers us with His forgiveness and grace. Now we are counting down for the celebration of His coming!!

Shine that LIGHT!

We LOVE hands-on science! We have been learning about colors and light in this chapter. One of the things we wanted to categorize was light's ability to go through an object. Is the object 1) transparent 2) translucent or 3) opaque?

Our scientists took their work very seriously to determine their findings.

We are looking forward to starting our new chapter on MATTER! And yes, there will be another experiment...wait and see:)
