Thanksgiving Feast and Rally 2022

We had some good lookin' turkeys and chefs in our classroom on Friday!

The chefs were ready to cook the turkeys in their kitchen!

We were SO excited about our Thanksgiving Feast for lunch! Thank you IMPACT, Mr. Danny, and all of the parents who came out to serve us. It was delicious!

Sorry Mrs. Sarmiento for snapping the photo before you were ready...LOL! The kids LOVE HER!!

After lunch, we got to enjoy our pumpkin pie from Corky's! It went so quickly that I didn't even have time to take a picture!!

It was fun to watch the movie Free Birds since it related to the opinion-mini-write that we did recently...Should Turkey be Thanksgiving's Main Dish?

It was so much fun to use our pillows and blankets during the movie while enjoying our pie and snacks!

Right after the movie, we went to the gym to end the day with a Spirit Rally! It was led by us, the 3rd grade teachers!

The kids did 2 relays: Balance the Giant Marshmallow on the Spatula, and Squeeze the Squash on your Back relay :)

We also found out that our class won the Eagle for showing school spirit with our turkeys/chefs dress up!! Great job, everyone!

May you experience GRATITUDE every day because of JESUS!
Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

OCTOBER/NOVEMBER BOOK REPORT PROJECT

I was EXTREMELY proud of the kids for their book report projects as well as their oral presentations. I could tell that they practiced...they had eye-contact with the audience and spoke confidently. This round was a huge improvement from the last time.

I LOVED the variety of projects that we got to see! Kids are already getting ideas for the January projects :)

The game boards were a LOT of fun for the classmates to play together!

I know that these projects take a lot of time and work (I remember them from when my kiddos were elementary students!).

Thank you for your involvement in your child's learning, and for being such supportive parents.

I LOVE AND APPRECIATE ALL OF YOU!!
