INTERNATIONAL FEAST 2019

I wish I had taken more pictures of all of our guests that came through, but I was too busy looking at all of the delicious foods around the room!

You parents and grandparents truly outdid yourselves this year.

Some teachers told me that this was one of the best International Feasts we've ever had!

The Ethiopian table was quite impressive! So many flavorful dishes!

The food was enjoyed not only by all of the students, but also the parents, teachers, and staff.

Thank you for everyone's hard work.

Now they can go home and get some sleep:)

EXPO 2019

Our expo night was SO MUCH FUN!
Thank you for coming and supporting your child's accomplishments.

Were you able to use the QR Code Reader (free app on your phone or iPad) to view your child's secret mission video?

If not, I will show them here. Unfortunately, I cannot post Mercury since the file was too large. Let me know if you want to see the presentation for Mercury, and I will email it to you.

Math Time FUN!

 We trapped some Zoids!
When we were studying the names of Polygons, we learned that Trapezoids only have 1 pair of parallel lines.

In order for that to stick, I had the kids make Trapezoid traps to trap the Zoids. They come out only at night time when the kids are not in the classrooms. They also left some polygon shaped treats to lure them out.

And sure enough, when we returned to school the next morning, they had all been caught!

Unfortunately, Caleb lost a finger in the process. Those Zoids can sometimes be aggressive.

We also like to make Math edible at times.

Did you know that Cheez-its are a perfect square inch?

We determined the perimeter and the area of the square inch shapes.

Of course we got to eat them all after we were finished with our work. :)
