EPIC End of the Year Party!!

Did your student come home completely exhausted today? Well, it's because we had the BEST party ever!!

We had to switch the jumper time with our movie time due to the rain, but it was all good.

The kids were quite happy about eating their junk food in the morning!

Next, we were entertained by the Imagination Machine. Our students wrote original stories a while ago and mailed them in to this company.

This morning, we got to watch them perform some of their stories! It was so neat to watch their writing come alive, literally:)

The kids who wrote the chosen stories were given certificates.

After lunch, we got to go outside and enjoy a variety of jumpers! We felt like we were at the fair, but didn't have to pay for our turn!

Thank you to our parent volunteers who manned our jumper for over an hour!!

At the end of the day, we got to end our party with a Jana Alayra concert! Our kids got to go on stage with her to sing a song, so that was awesome.

We worshipped the Lord with all of our hearts!

My daughter Ellie grew up listening to Jana's songs, so it was a special treat for her and her High School friends to meet her (I let them sneak in for a portion of the concert). They got to sing one of their songs that they used to sing when they were in Elementary Choir, so it was a special moment for Ellie.

Thank you, my 3rd grade parents of 2017-2018, for a WONDERFUL SCHOOL YEAR! It truly has been an honor to be your child's teacher.

Have a great summer with your kiddos, and remember to have them READ and play OUTSIDE, and LIMIT THE VIDEO GAMES!!

I love you all. Signing off for the year.

International Feast 2018

The annual 3rd grade International Feast was an incredible success once again!

You know how I can tell? It's 5pm that evening, and I'm still FULL! Wow...what an amazing lineup of delicious dishes from all around the world.

I can honestly say that every single thing was GREAT. The teachers and staff have been talking about it all day long.

THANK YOU to all the moms, dads, and grandparents who looked up recipes, went shopping, and cooked late into the evening for us.

THANK YOU to all of you who spent a lot of money getting food from caterers and restaurants.

Now, enjoy the photos of the kids proudly introducing their food. And of course, I took some close-ups of the dishes, too!
