Birthday Party for Jesus, 2022

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!

Thank you again for your generous donations to make the Birthday Party for Jesus a great success! The kids were SUPER excited!

But of course, we lit the Jesus Candle of our Advent wreath first to remind us of why we were celebrating. We sang Happy Birthday to Jesus first!

Then, we recited our Bible verses:

After our hearts were prepared for the reason of our celebration, we ate some delicious brunch food! 

Games were played, and silliness was had by all.

It was SO GREAT to have my daughter Ellie with me during the party! She LOVED getting to know the kids!

Speaking of silly, Ellie taught me how to do the Griddy the other day, and she had me doing it in front of the kids. 

Now, the moment that the kids had been waiting for...the big REVEAL of their Secret Snack Santa!

The reaction is just so awesome...you'd think they just won a million dollars! I loved seeing the pure joy on their faces!
