Easter Celebration

He is risen! He is risen indeed!

Our Bible classes have been SO sweet the last couple of weeks as we have gone through the events leading up to our Savior's crucifixion and resurrection. I've been praying that each child would have assurance of their salvation. I've also been praying for YOU, the parents and grandparents, that you would be challenged to examine your faith, and know without a shadow of a doubt that you are loved and forgiven by Jesus Christ!

Thank you Mrs. Wong for reinforcing our learning by having the kids make the resurrection wreath for the Easter party.

And thank you for getting the delicious cupcakes from Kristine's parents' bakery (http://bakeddessertbar.com). They were out of this world!!

Thank you parents for sending in your dozen filled eggs. I explained to the kids that the eggs represent NEW LIFE that we can have in Jesus, and that is the reason we do the Easter egg hunt :)

Thanks to all our parent helpers for assisting in the classroom as well as hiding the eggs outside.

Bless you all!

American Indian project

I was SO impressed with everyone's creativity on their American Indian Research and Model Project!

All of the students did a great job. I learned A LOT through their oral presentations as well as their written research. The consensus was that most of them would not want to live with their tribal group because of the "lack of clothing". Very understandable :) .

Please enjoy the photos. I love each and every one of them! I can't wait to show them off on our Open House night coming up in May.
