Day 5
This is one of my favorite scenes in the book and the movie! I love it when the kids eat everything in the garden, and watching Willie Wonka take a bite out of the flower cup!
We got to create our own little garden, complete with soil, rocks, grass, flowers, and a worm! The best part about it was that it was all EAT-ABLE, as Willy Wonka would say!
Day 6
We HAD to try some of the Chocolate River from the Wonka Factory. But don't worry...we drank from the river BEFORE Augustus Gloop fell in.
Day 7
Today was the day that we got to try one of Mr. Wonka's best inventions...the Everlasting Gobstoppers! We were surprised to taste so many flavors in just one candy.
Diego, Jahan, and Bailee's Gobstoppers lasted the longest!
Day 8
When we read about the Fizzy Lifting Drink that makes you float, OF COURSE we had to try it.
We were a bit disappointed that our Fizzy Lifting Drink actually didn't make us float, but at least we got to drink a yummy fizzy drink!
We thought the lick-able wallpaper was a VERY interesting idea.
