This year, Miss Rice came up with a great idea to have a nautical theme to represent our school theme of standing firm in the faith.
No matter what storms we face in life, we can always stand firm because Jesus, our Lighthouse, lights our path.
We had fun with our food names, too! I didn't think to get photos of our food until they were mostly gone, but you'll get the idea.

The kids enjoyed playing games with their grandparents, and also interviewed them and asked for advice.
They made an anchor craft together to represent that Jesus is our stability in the storm.
They also got to show off their Writers' Notebook, and read their informational text to the guests.
The kids impressed everyone by reciting their memory verses and singing some songs. They even rapped the 8's and the 9's multiplication tables! Coolest kids EVER.
I hope our guests enjoyed their time today. Most of all, I pray that they were touched by the love of Jesus through our beautiful children.
A blessing to us as grandparents to be with our grandchildren and knowing that the kids are getting the best education in a school that honors Jesus. Best school and staff ever. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful job (ministry). The photos are great!
