We have had some wonderful Bible classes as we have seen Jesus enter into Jerusalem when He didn't have to, even when He knew that He would be killed there.
We watched as Jesus washed the disciples' feet, showing us how we need to serve others in humility.
We thanked Him as we ate the bread and the juice, contemplating His broken body and shed blood to cover our sins.
We cried as we watched Jesus suffer a cruel death on the cross, but knew that was the Only way that our sins could be punished and forgiven.
We jumped up and down and rejoiced when we found out, along with the Marys and the disciples that the tomb was, indeed...EMPTY!!!
I pray that you and your family will attend church this Easter, and truly understand that Jesus was uttering YOUR NAME as He did all of this! May it be a deep, intimate celebration of Who He is and what He has done for you.
For the first time, we had an Easter Brunch Party...and it was a HIT!
You can't go wrong with muffins, donuts, veggies, fruit with whip, and sausages dipped in syrup!
We loved having parent helpers!
Our Easter Egg Hunt was SO much fun! Great job on filling the eggs with wonderful surprises!
And finally, the opening ceremony:)
