Aquarium of the Pacific

As an introduction to our new science unit (Life Science), we took a trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific! A special thanks to our 8 parents who took great care of our children.

We were amazed by the beauty of the COLORS that our God created and placed upon each of the sea creatures and plants!

The jellyfish were one of the favorites. The photos don't do them justice...I tried to get a video of the electric jellyfish. I hope you can see the blue and green lights. Super cool!!

Being silly with mom is the greatest! One happy boy:)

This guy totally made me want seafood for dinner. Joe's Crab Shack, anyone??

The Sea Lions were the cutest! They wanted to play!

This is called a Leafy Sea Dragon. Mrs. Jacobs and I were commenting on how God must have giggled when He created some of these. What a delight!

These boys were ready to sail the seas like Amos and Boris!

The Sawfish smiled for the camera :)

I'm glad everyone came home with all of their fingers.

Our apologies for being late in getting back. We hit traffic, so it took us 2 hours and 10 minutes to drive back! Note to self for next year: leave sooner!

(I realized that I didn't get to take a photo of RJ...sorry buddy! I know you had a great time being with mom!)
