On Friday, the students got to experience a team building activity through the use of our STEM bins. Each group is given a container of manipulatives. The assignment is for them to build whatever I tell them to, ONLY using the items in the bin.
They have to work together as a team, and create the assigned item together. It was good to see who my assertive leaders are, and who needs more encouragement to participate and communicate :)
I loved hearing words of affirmation given to one another by many of the students!
