A HODGE-PODGE of HAPPENINGS!

 I just wanted to give you some snippets of fun things that have been happening at school.

We LOVE our chapel times on Thursdays! Here is a glimpse of how the upper elementary kids worship:

I am SO thrilled that 3rd graders now get to join the Worship Team! Here they are in action:

In Bible class, we have been learning about how Jesus was 100% human and 100% God at the same time! We learned about the 12 year old Jesus who was found at the temple, teaching the teachers :) I asked the kids to draw a 3rd grade Jesus, using their imagination of what he may have looked like:

In Social Studies, we learned the continents and oceans of the world! They did an amazing job on this test where they had to identify all of them. Can you get a 100% like most of the class? :)

FIRST POST of the 2022-2023 School Year: STEM Bins!!

 On Friday, the students got to experience a team building activity through the use of our STEM bins. Each group is given a container of manipulatives. The assignment is for them to build whatever I tell them to, ONLY using the items in the bin. 

They have to work together as a team, and create the assigned item together. It was good to see who my assertive leaders are, and who needs more encouragement to participate and communicate :) 

I loved hearing words of affirmation given to one another by many of the students!
