As you may have heard, we worked hard on our explanatory essay on "How to Build an Ice Cream Sundae".
We learned how to combine action verbs with adverbs to make our sentences come alive.
Scoop firmly. Swirl carefully. Sprinkle quickly. Place gently.
The day FINALLY came where we actually got to act out our action verbs:)
I head that not too many of the kids were hungry for dinner that night. Sorry not sorry!
That was the best language arts lesson EVER:)
