HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This post has been sitting in my computer for weeks now, so I better publish before it gets to be too old!
We had a great Birthday Party for Jesus. Thank you as always for our Room Moms and volunteers who make it all happen!
We started out with some games of friendly competition...
Then we took a break to eat some DELICIOUS FOOD!
There was NO shortage of sugar, that's for sure:)
We got to recite our Christmas Bible verses to focus on the true meaning of our celebration, and got to sing some Christmas hymns as well. That was a very special experience for all of us.
We played more silly games. Look at the action shots with the flying rings!
We ended our time with our Favorite Snack Gift Exchange. I always enjoy seeing the pure excitement on their faces!
By the way, I hope you enjoyed the wreath that your children made for you! I want to say a special THANK YOU to Mrs. Hull who cut hundreds and hundreds of green felt strips for us. I'm sure she never wants to see green felt ever again:)
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
May the truth of His INCARNATION be your hope and strength in 2019.
