There were 4 stations: 1) Games where the kids tried to beat their guests in a serious game of Tic Tac Toe, Hangman, Word Search, and Connect Four 2) Interview station where the kids got to find out some interesting facts as well as receive some life advice; this station also was the Make-your-own-Trail-Mix station 3) Puzzles and photo booth 4) Crafts where they got to make a Beatitudes Beehive and a bookmark.
The kids also recited all of the Bible verses that they had memorized so far. They also sang the Books of the New Testament song and the Old Testament. I was such a proud teacher:)
And did you notice our Superstar guest among us? Mrs. Hull was the "grandma" for a couple of our kids whose grandparents couldn't make it...but then she surprised us by bringing Mr. Hull, too! He is our walking miracle. We have been praying for him as he went through major surgery for colon cancer...and just a few weeks later, here he was, loving on our kids in the classroom. What a testimony of God's grace. It was also a great reminder to our children of answered prayer (see below).
(I apologize if I missed anyone. We had over 65 people in our room, some going in and out during our time together. I tried my best to catch everyone!)
