International Feast 2017

Parents, you truly went ALL OUT this year to make our International Feast an incredible success. I thought it was amazing all of our past years, but my goodness...this year was phenomenal.

Take a look at this table full of Korean food! Everything was so flavorful. Our tastebuds were dancing!

The dessert table was quite a hit, too, with cake from Nigeria, eclair  and cute mini truffle cups from England, candy from Spain, and German chocolate cake, just to name a few. The beignets from France disappeared quickly!

Thanks also for the cookies from Italy, and the sweets from Scotland as well as the dessert from Nicaragua.

Christopher was very proud to bring his 3 dishes from Belize. The chicken was outstanding.

Sydnie's mom went all the way out to Porto's to get our potato balls from Cuba.

And of course, the feast would not have been complete without our Mexican food!

Parker brought pretzels to feed an army!

Julia's mom grew up in Sweden, so she brought the most delicious finger foods presented in the cutest way.

Xavier's Jamaican food was a total hit. The kids could not stop eating the jerk chicken!

And of course, I'm quite partial to Asian food, so Vy Kay's food from Singapore made me so happy!

I am kicking myself right now for forgetting to take pictures of all of our crockpot dishes lined up against the wall! I'm including this picture below to show you (even though Mrs. Jarvie and Mrs. Snawder are really cute, pay attention to the crock pots behind them:)).

Let's see if I can remember...rolled cabbage from Ukraine, stew from Cuba, chicken adobo from the Philippines, more Korean food including kimchi, rice from Nigeria, and goulash from Slovenia.

I do apologize if I failed to mention someone's food...I'm doing this all from memory.

Here is Miss Rice enjoying the tastes from around the world.

Here is Chloe befriending a new student that we will have in 4th grade next year. Thank you for welcoming her into the family.

Judging from the way the kids ate, and ate, and ate...everything was  SUPER-DELICIOUS! Thanks again parents and grandparents for working so hard to make this day a success.
