Celebrating the Love of Jesus on Valentine's Day!

Our Valentine's Day party was loads of fun! We first began by decorating our bags...

....and waited patiently to get to our amazing food table! Look at this spread (thank you parents as always for the donations).

Next, we played a game where we passed candy to the right or to the left, according to the story that Mrs. Snawder read to us.

We were ALL happy to end up with a candy at the end:)

The final game was CRAZY FUN...getting a marble out of one leg and putting it in the other is harder than you think!!

Of course, giving and getting Valentines is the very best!

Look at these smiles! I am SO blessed to be their teacher.

Lewis Family Playhouse

We had a nice morning out at the Lewis Family Playhouse located in Victoria Gardens. The show was The Secret Garden.

Thank you to all the wonderful moms who drove for us that morning!

My favorite part was at the very end when the characters all sang the Doxology! What a pleasant surprise to hear that in a public show. Do you know the lyrics to the old hymn? It goes like this:

Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above ye heavenly host
Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.

Happy Birthday Jesus!

This blog was sitting here since December, patiently waiting to be posted. So sorry about that!

I just wanted to let all of you see a little glimpse of the beautiful Christmas Party that we were able to have, celebrating the birth of Jesus.

Our fearless room mom did it all...not too many people can lead 28 excited kids to make a craft during a party, but she did it!

I hope the little baby Jesus ornament will appear each year on your tree, and remind you of the true meaning of Christmas.

And oh my goodness...we had delicious FOOD! Real food...pizza, fried chicken, veggies, and dessert. I think we were all quiet for a moment as we stuffed our mouths:)

Thanks to all the parents for bringing the Favorite Snack present for our Secret Santa gift exchange.
They were an absolute HIT!

They were quite excited about their candy bar, salty snack, and drink! It was neat to see how thankful they were for such a simple gift.

Happy Birthday Jesus!
