We had some great twins for Red Ribbon Week:
Silly faces!
Every morning in class, we get into our "morning line" to say good morning together. When I noticed that we had 100% participation for ORANGE day, I had to get a video!
When I was picking up the kids from music class, I was delighted to hear beautiful music through their ukulele lesson! Here is a short clip of that moment:
We had Writers' Workshop this week. I was so very proud of how hard they were working on their Beanstalk Fairytale, so I whipped out my phone to take a video:
In Social Studies, the students were instructed on the safe usage of Safari for their research. They were in groups, and they looked up information on various famous landmarks in America to complete their landmark brochures.
Upon completion, they were given 15 minutes to prepare for a group oral presentation. They were trying to convince Mrs. Johnston, their client, to come to their landmark.
Here are their presentations...please kindly overlook their minor inaccuracies and mispronunciations 😂😂😂. We are celebrating their independent research and their ability to work well together in a group!! I am so proud of them!
