This is how it all started...
After writing an excellent Topic Sentence, we focused on coming up with descriptive adverbs and action verbs.
Next, we wrote our transition words, our star ideas, and our red details to support our star ideas.
After coming up with the Conclusion statement, we got busy writing the Rough Draft.
We had plenty of motivation to complete our editing and final copy, because we knew that our ICE CREAM SUNDAE PARTY was coming our way!
The students voted on Cookies and Cream as well as Mint Chocolate Chip. We also got Vanilla. It was a good thing that Miss Rice's class had their party first, because they gave us all of their leftover toppings!
Mrs. Johnston made sure to get extra whip cream so that we could COVER our sundae with it:)
Yes, we all gave our Language Arts "class time" a thumbs up!
