The kids worked SUPER HARD on their ice cream writing this week.
It's amazing what they can do when there is MOTIVATION...I may or may not have told them that they can't have ice cream if they're not finished with their writing (lololol).
It worked 😁.

We had five flavors of ice cream and a TON of toppings.
(So sorry Charli V and Cali for not getting your photos! Scooping ice cream and taking photos was hard to do. I apologize!!)
Sorry if they didn't want to eat dinner that night! Yes, we did let them get seconds and thirds. My students from years past always return to tell me that this was one of their favorite Language Arts days ever!
