Day of Jubilee 2026

Today was SO MUCH FUN! We started off with some games in the classroom. Here we are doing the bean bag toss into the shark's mouth:

Next, we played a game with sticky hands...whoever got the most money won a desk pet!

Here is Lorenzo quieting the crowd...

The next game was called "Alien Slingshot". Whoever shot the alien the farthest was the winner.

Finally, it was time for us to go outside for the JUMPERS!

I was not able to get too many photos since I was manning one of the jumpers (trying to avoid injuries!). We are thankful that no one got hurt today.

Later on, we also got to play the Chopsticks game. Of course our Asian friends did very well...lol.

You know I had to join the competition. I remained the champion...haha!

It was fun to get together with Mrs. Perez's class and sign each other's yearbooks.

We were so happy that it was lunchtime! We found some shade outside, and enjoyed our sandwiches together.

At the end of the day, we all went to the gym for the movie! It was a very inspiring film...we learned that God can be trusted, even when it doesn't look like it nor feel like it.

What a great day it was! We are very thankful to have such a special day full of fun activities.

The fun isn't over yet...tomorrow is WACKY WEDNESDAY with Mrs. Johnston!!

INTERNATIONAL FEAST 2026

The International Feast was a great success, thanks to YOU!!!

You came with the most DELICIOUS dishes, and brought plenty of it. WOW! Thank you so much for cooking, baking, or purchasing.

Like I mentioned before, I know that many of you stayed up late the night before, or woke up early to prepare. I also know that the food was very expensive to purchase.

Thank you for the sacrifices you made to make our feast an incredible success!!

We started by introducing the food. The kids did a great job!

Then it was time to eat! Look at this amazing table!

We ate, and ate, and ate some more.

My husband joins me every year! I'm so thankful for him...I loved his prayer for the nations, and for workers to be sent into the harvest field! My prayer is that our children would grow up to become missionaries to these countries!

I'm also thankful that he took all of these pictures for me (except for the ones that some of you sent to me). He apologizes for not getting each student in a closeup. It was very difficult with everyone moving around!

We all agreed that this was the very best social studies lesson EVER.
