EASTER PARTY 2026

First, we set our hearts on the REASON for our celebration.

The kids recited from Isaiah first:

Then they recited the verses from Matthew:

It blesses me SO much when they say their Bible verses. I know it pleases the Lord as well.

Thank you again for the party donations! Look at the delicious spread we had:

Here are the best smiles in the world! Pizza and donuts make me smile, too! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩

Thank you to our parent helpers!!

We also got to make some Easter crafts:

We missed Lorenzo, Malaya, and Noah! It wasn't the same without all 23!!

At the very end before dismissal time, we went through all of the "Resurrection Eggs" and retold the beautiful story of Easter.

The very last egg was EMPTY!!!!!

ICE CREAM SUNDAE PARTY!! 2026

The students did such a wonderful job on their sundae writing.

Here is an example of a tasty topic sentence. We also focused on using adverb-verb pairs in this writing.

This is the outline that we used to organize our ideas:

Here is an example of a delicious conclusion sentence:

We transferred the outline to our rough draft page:

After editing, we wrote our final copy:

FINALLY, FRIDAY ARRIVED!
Mrs. Johnston had so much fun shopping and chopping!!

We DO NOT skimp on toppings and ice cream in this class!!!

The students were allowed to get their own toppings, and even do their own whip cream...LOLOL. It was fun to watch🤣!

(I invited our 2 room moms to help me scoop. Thank you Krissia and Akira!)

A well-deserved treat after a week of hard work!

OH yes he did...

The best part was sending them home after a bowl full of pure sugar.

You're welcome, parents. Sorry not sorry.                       🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🤣🤣🤣🤣🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
