Grandparents' Day 2022

We had such a great time with our Grandparents this morning!

The day started with breakfast time in the courtyard area.

The Book Fair stayed busy the entire time!! I hope our kids got some good chapter books!

We got to recognize Zaylen's birthday today! Happy Birthday!

Thanks to Corky's, our tummies were happy and full.

These sticky buns were out of this world!!                  Mrs. Sarmiento ate like 25 of them.

In the sanctuary, Mrs. Samanovich led us in a bunch of games.

The classroom was ready to welcome the Grandparents from 10-11:30.

STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTION 2022

On Friday, our Upper Elementary students got to participate in our Student Council elections. 

In the morning, we talked about the job of Student Council on our campus, and discussed the role of each position. 

Then we looked through these beautiful photos of our UCA leaders, many of whom are my former students!! 

I was also VERY impressed that some brand new students to our school had the courage to run for Student Council! That alone is a mark of a leader!!

When we walked in to the gym, the energy was amazing! The candidates were on the stage, ready to give their speeches. 

Everyone did SUCH a great job, it was very difficult to choose.
