Student Council Elections 2024

On September 20th, our elementary school held our Student Council Elections.

Here are the clever and persuasive posters they created. I love how these students take the campaign process very seriously.

Here we are, getting ready to listen to the speeches by the candidates.

These are the brave students who decided to run this year.

I took photos of my former students! I kept imagining our 3rd graders doing this in a couple of years!

(I taught Asher, too, but did not take a photo of him!)

I told the kids to take mental notes of the candidates they were impressed with. Beforehand, we talked about the importance of the person having godly character and leadership skills.

Drum roll please...

Here are the Student Council Members for the 2024-2025 school year! Congratulations to all!

Book in a Box 2024

Congratulations everyone on surviving your first Book Report Project for 3rd grade!

Everyone did such a great job. Thank you for helping your student in  following the directions,  and making sure that they did their own work 😀🙌 !!

Now that we've done the first project, I think everyone understands the importance of CHECKING OFF THE RUBRIC:

Below are pics of our most amazing kids! I told them to choose 2 of their favorite items from the project. Their smiles make me so happy!

The next project will be due on Thursday, November 7th.

First, the students will read a chapter book at their level. No more graphic novels please from this point forward. Here is an example of what I'm talking about:

After reading the chapter book, they can choose which project they want to do out of the remaining choices in the red folder.
